When the Outdoor Industry brings it voice to the nation’s capital for OIA’s annual Capitol Summit, please consider contributing to the Parks 4 Kids DC project and leave an in indelible impression on not only on the Hill, but in the lives of 4th grades in the District of Columbia.

As an industry, we depend of the next generation of outdoor stewards  and users. To address this important issue during the National Park Centennial, the Outdoor Foundation and Outdoor Industry Association have a goal to provide a meaningful parks experience for every 4th grader in Washington, DC.

For $55,000, all 3300+ DC 4th graders will have a national park experience in 2016.  For the current school year, DCPS has 86 Title I Schools (85 Schoolwide and 1 Targeted Assistance) and 26 Non-Title I Schools.
